World Social Work Day is observed every year on the third Tuesday in March. The day recognizes the dedication, diligence and hard work of social workers.
The following article published in today’s Express highlights the integral role the group of Psychiatric Social Workers attached to the St. Ann’s Hospital play in advocating the provision of quality mental health care.
Psychiatric Social Workers are just some of social workers employed with the Authority as our patients are also able to access various social work services at the Port of Spain General Hospital, St. James Medical Complex and even at the community level.
The NWRHA takes this opportunity to thank all our Social Workers and social work staff for their continued endeavors in the delivery of professional and qualitative healthcare to our patients.
